Election 2012: The Obama Resume, or "Why You Should Vote For Me Again" Thread

As usual, thread topic (I hope) says it all.

What I want to hear and discuss is the Pro- side for Obama. What concrete accomplishments has he made, what has he done, what good things has he created, and what positive things is he responsible for that his side can say "THIS! This is why you should vote for me in 2012".

I'd prefer we don't go "well, he's not an (R)", as thats not Pro-. That Con-.

I want to see the reasons why Obama deserves my vote (or anyones vote) in 2012.

What is his resume of successes in his first term?

Successfully had FBI ransack grandmother's home for 2 years until they found his long form birth certificate. If that isn't a reason to re-elect him I don't know what is.

He hasn't turned the United States into a Muslim Caliphate as predicted by the :dunce:'s

Which must've been really really hard for him since he is super-Muslimy.

    +1

I think Obama is very beatable in this election, provided the Republicans put out a strong candidate to run against him. The problem is they have nobody right now.

    Still more laughs

Did you even read it? Half the stuff was not accomplishments but cancelling what Bush did or stuff that didn't happen yet or won't happen

    Saving $20B after wasting multi-T$?

They left out: bowing to the keeper of his holy cities, the King of Saudi Arabia and other Eastern potentates, dithering over the BP spill, raising pints in Ireland while tornadoes ravaged, Blble Belt cities suffered (with few minorities to smooch and comfort), WH party crashers, Suing states over illegals' "rights"...

    Try instead:

I posted this in another thread. This is how I think the election will go.

What I think will happen is that Obama will keep himself even with whoever he is running against using the economy and his healthcare package for the first couple months of the campaign (he may even start to lose to some to the R nominee in some of the polls). But come about early October I'll expect him to drop all the economy and healthcare arguments and focus solely on the fact that he got Bin Laden. The fact that the R nominees might have some good ideas about national security and the like will be rendered useless to them because expect every 30 second ad to highlight Obama getting Bin Laden and you can't really beat this with a 30 second ad explaining a policy.

The sad state of American Politics has brought it to the level that a 30 second ad highlighting a past achievement (capturing Bin Laden) will far outweigh any ad talking about how to deal with the future.

that will happen... all except for the Keeping Even part.

right now Obama leads all potential Republican challengers by double-digit margins
