Do we really need gifts?:D

I told both my daughters, their gift to me was and is that they have grown to be beatiful young women. As a bonus they stopped thinking I was an A-Hole;) and have thanked me for being tough when they were young as they both have gone on to good young professional careers and I absolutely couldn't be prouder. That is all I ever wanted.

In fact, I am walking my eldest down the aisle this Sunday.

Enjoy it all you young fathers..... the chidhood years go by fast!

You're going to be a mess. Please have someone video the "waterworks" and post it in the Hampur. :D Congratulations.

Speaking of great gifts, my son (nearly 13 years-old) just presented me with an artfully constructed and executed video montage of various images of me with him and my wife. He edited it beautifully, and set it "Painkillers" by Big Elf.

I would kill for any movie of me playing bass back then. We'd probably be doing "The Bomber" by The James Gang or "Mississippi Queen".

Happy Father's Day, guys. I hope you all enjoy the day!

I received a gift certificate for a massage session and a hammock.

The double entendres almost made my head explode.

Happy Father's Day to all !!

Just got back from having a nice outdoor lunch with my beautiful daughter.

She gave me the new book on ESPN as a present.

    Looks like a fun read.

Happy Dad's Afternoon to you fellas. All is mellow, and I got Keith Richard's book "Life" and it is hilarious.

The real Father's Day should be today, after Father's Day...I sure could use the extra rest.

Although I can't really complain....was up at 3:30 to hit a local reservoir and was on the water before sunrise. Fished for 5 hours then packed up the canoe and went home.

The only annoying part was having hosting the in-laws.. .

and for some reason women cannot cook meals on an open flame, so I had to do it. While they ate the food I created I got drunk on the deck, then i took a 2 hour power nap.

Woke up, and ate half a key lime pie whilst watching 'Cars' on TV with my two girls, and then was in bed by 10pm. All in all not a bad day at all....

Actually in retrospect it could very well be one of the best ever...indubitably
