I got aggressive and booked a 5:45am tee time at LI National. The earlier I'm done, the less ****e I get from the wife.

No fireworks down here this year -- from the keester or anywhere.

Against the law because of fire threats due to the exceptional drought and unusual heat. Supposed to be 103° on the 4th!
(The next 10 days range from 100° to 104°.)

<---- Guess I'll just have to hang around drinking cold beverages!

Enjoy. Drink heavily and pass out on the boulders.

Have fun! Being safe is over-rated (just try not to get killed).

    My goal for the weekend...

I will be having the Belgium Budweiser myself, circa 1366. Palm is good too. 1747? We both pre-date 1776. Enjoy!

    LOVE Stella.

Actually, that was my last Palm.

Will be switching to a lager/pilsner for the weekend.

Probably Spaten, but I may just go get a case of RED STRIPE!!

Like the beer but that food looks delicious. I'm always looking for new good things to grill.

So, what's your recipe for Mongolian Pork Chops, Stokes?

    TIA

Palm is great Stokes, Belgian beers are the best IMO.

Love white beers too. My favorite white Belgian

Set up the quick-set pool. It has a leak.

Go get another pool, more sand.

Prospect of setting up new pool.

Wife says buy a real pool, patch old one, return sand & new one.

Price of new pool = price of Breitling I want.

Kids faces after getting into pool.

I drank five bottles of beer, in the sun, while cutting the lawn. Thankfully the John Deere has a bottle holder.

The things I'd do for one of Stokes' Mongolian Pork Chops right now

I was at the lake for 12 straight hours. The liver is not happy.

I've posted it before--not my recipie but from Mustard Grille in Napa--saw it on Bobby Flay's segment of Best Thing I Ever Ate. Have the recipie at work, will post it again next week.

I can has Bibz? Rubbed these down last night, getting ready to braise them, finish them off on the grille. No I don't have a smoker.

Crap weather here on the east coast. Made 2 gallons of red and white sangria- can't let that go to waste.

Yes, they literally were falling off the bone. Braised for 3 +hours, finished on the grill with a honey chipotle glaze.

    Very thirst-quenching.
