98 currently... But with some cloud cover and wind gusts...

Around 9:00am it was 82 with great breezes... Which is great for being around Dallas. That was a first for what has typically been a scorcher the last few weeks...

According to weather.com, it's 105 at home and feels like 115. That's good news.

Personally, I prefer extreme cold over extreme heat.

People need to shut up about the weather, it is the only thing people talk about anymore.

I don't like the cold, especially when it's snowing and windy.

I traded that in when I moved down here to brutal-summer-heat-land. Every day is forecast in the 100's, with no clouds or rain.

And August is our hottest month. Oh joy!

With the "exceptional" (worst level) drought dragging on for months, they're now telling people to water their foundations. Have to keep the soil at the foundations wet so that the cement slabs (no basements here) don't crack and make the house tilt. WLF???

Very sunny and 69 degrees; 10 degrees cooler than the NYC low of 79.

I was wearing layers last night. :(

It was 88 @ 0430. My "office" topped out today at a horrendous 106. Now I just got an automated call from Con Ed asking me to turn off non-essential electrical devices/appliances? Go fuc

That's because you can fix the cold by bundling up. You can be butt naked and still be sweating without A/C. Cold > Heat

==Last 2 Summers have been hotter than usual at the New Jersey Shore. Still prefer this over the South , where the summers last 5 months. Hope to drive North to Central Vermont next week; ahh Cool Mountain Air.
