Pats looking at TJ Whodoesn'thaveitanymore?

#Jets rivals looking at vet WR RT @RapSheet: BREAKING: #Patriots set to host free agent TJ Houshmandzadeh tomorrow for a workout, I'm told

    This could be interesting.

5 years ago this would have been a good move, it just doesn't make sense, especially if you listen to any Pastry homer, they have a whole lot of young talent at WR. TJ doesn't really fit on a team with an aging Welker and an already aging and declining Branch...

And Pats fans had the nerve to mock the Jets for bringing in veteran WR's?

    Spin it Pats fans...

    he wont help

More likely than not yet another one of the Pats interviews of veterans that they will never sign. The Pats do it all the time. I seriously doubt the Pats would ever touch him since he would never see the field with Welker on the team.

Good lord. What is your problem? What's there to spin? bringing in a a veteran WR for a look. Most of us would not have minded if Housh came into camp for a look, including yourself.

I would have hated it; because it would have meant that our current WR group isn't living up to expectations.

This is great -- last year, the Pats had no one you had to respect deep. This guy makes them even slower.

C'mon i hate Belicheck as the rest of you do but you have to admit hes pretty good. Im not saying that its a good move but, dont be surprised if he signs and has a pretty good year. Thats what belicheck does, gets the best out of his players. He makes average players in his system, pretty damn good ones. If he does well, he'll get signed , no harm done if he doesnt theyll just give him the boot.

Well, looks like Belicheat started to collect former Bangals players. And really, who does not want to repeat their success?

C'mon dude, just read the posts in the thread. If BB is bringing this guy in (and decides to keep them), it "must" be the right move . . . cuz that's what BB does . . . he does things right . . . he has the midas touch . . . he must know something no one else knows . . . can't wait to see what awesome perfection this turns out to be . . . unless the guys stinks, in which case BB is genius enough to see that and cut him . . .

The Jets got Plax/Mason? Man, are they desparate for help . . . this is sure to blow up in their face . . . when are they going to realize you can't just go out and "buy" talent . . . you have to take care of your own . . . just had a wet dream about BE and JCo still being on the team . . .

Thank God Beli didn't snatch up the vaunted Braylon and Jericho. He must be losing his eye for talent. They would have been unstoppable with those two future HOFers. Instead he takes two Senor citizens like Ocho five and his old buddy Ocho four when there were plenty of younger players available.

he'd probably be an upgrade over BenJarvis Bin Laden, Sammy Morris and Danny Fumbles

The pats seem to have 15 high draft picks a year and have the greatest mind in all of sports running the team, yet they seem to be pulling old players from the scrapheap every other week (ocho, TJ, ellis, haynesworth......).

This tells me that Belicheat is not to happy with his roster.
