The kid has balls, guts, and courage. He is accurate also. Too bad not a long baller. He impressed me though!

He looked sloppy at times, but he was under pressure the entire game. He had a few long passes that hit the receiver in the hands and were dropped including a potential game winner. Overall, I am impressed with play, and I think he showed good promise.

A year in the weight training program and learning the system will help tremendously.

If he can build up his arm he might be #2 quality in a year or two.

I Feel bad for McElroy. Got beat up all night and had two TD's dropped (Payne and Campbell). Arm is weak, but played pretty good for a 7th round rookie.

    Im not upset about him.
tons of check downs, fair to poor pocket awareness & a pop gun arm..

he only cost us a 7th but again, he does not have an NFL arm..

Did Houston bring out their second team on that last drive??

poor pocket awareness? how many sacks did he avoid on that last drive?? totally disagree

pop gun arm??????????? CANT ARGUE THERE!!

id like to see MC Mallet take 5 sacks and multiple hits in his next game.

Nice game by the kid all things considered. Houston pulled out all the stops in the first half and last play. Poor offensive line play on our part but the Kid looked like a keeper

    LMAO.

The kid showed some heart out there tonight. Took some big hits early and made plays. His arm strength is poor but as a back up he may turn out to be a useful player.
