How does anyone create something so hauntingly perfect? I still can't fathom how I missed Nick Drake back then.

I don't know much about this duo. I heard this song a few weeks ago and was blown away by the vocal harmonies. Would love to see Page/Plant cover it.

Theese two are legit. Check the live performance of the tune. Love the resonator and Joy Williams. Both are dolls.

From one of the great, unsung (no pun) albums from this era. Randy Jackson kills it. Orchestral Mellotron/Oberheim noodlings by Felix Hanemann soar.

Saw them at Speaks about 3X, and only when Rat Race Choir went trio and started playing clubs in northen NJ (trekked there 2X).

That said, the guy is absolutely amazing; he'd sing all the Plant vocals while playing the Jimmy Page stuff. I was so depressed seeing how good he was that I hung up my guitar and cried.

    I got better.

And I'm jittery!.. Borgo I LOVE that blaster's tune. I'm not quoting it so I can keep hearing it.

Randy Jackson is the real deal. I saw them in the late 70s/early 80s. They did a version of "Question" which stopped me in my tracks. (Think I stopped playing for a while, too. ) I swear, it was better than the Moody Blues version.

Check Jackson in this recent video. (Always adored this tune.) He still sounds amazing.

I really like The Blasters' version. Jack White just covered it on his most recent record, Blunderbuss.

First version I remember is by Little Willie John.
