I didn't think this needed it's own thread because I had no idea what the injuries were...

You probably should have thought the same thing...

'Mason was limping, saw a trainer and stayed on the sideline.'

oops - i misread this tweet earlier

    nyjets New York Jets
#AL WR Derrick Mason left the field briefly with a minor limp. He has returned and is watching from the sidelines, looks unconcerned.

Misssed the "from the sidelines" part.

    Plax + Mason + Pace + Brunell

Add 'em up, they're older than the country.

mason and brunell wake up limping after 8 hours of sleep on a sleep number bed. no big deal especially if it means brunell isn't on the roster.

:D Do you guys know what the word MINOR means????

You might want to look at every team in the league....they all have MINOR injuries.....it's called football.

This time of year everyone's going to be extra careful with injuries, particularly with veterans and starters. I wouldn't think too much of it, what you're seeing is an overly cautious approach as player safety continues to be a priority for Rex. I'm sure that if it were regular season many of these minor injuries that were hearing about wouldn't keep said player from playing.

I left before that happened, but my impression of McElroy was not good. He seemed smaller than Sanchize and Brunell and his arm was definitely not as strong. He might work out, but I don't expect he will be a long term backup solution.

Not surprising considering they're combined age is almost 80 years old. lol Good thing our backup WR's don't look too shabby.

Cumberland was beasting in game 1... I agree and hope Schitty finds a way to get him on the field more often as well whether it be 2 TE sets or rotating him in occasionally with the first team offense.
