    On 9/11, A Wish

A Wish that we, as a nation, could find some real, meaningful unity. Not of policy per se, but in a deeper and more meaningful sense.

A unity to try, even just for a day, to believe that the "other side" of our political debate is not the evil moster "our side" portrays them, that there is no evil conspiracy to start wars, or go communist, but only men, human beings, doing their best to promote what they truly in their hearts they feel is the right course for our country.

To believe, even for a second, that those we choose to lead us are not bought and paid for by a corporation, or a union, or anyone else.

To hope these men understand the responsabillity they have taken on, not for themselves, but for us, the people.

To believe, even for a second, that those who disagree with us politically are not our enemy, but our best and closest friends, our blood brothers, and should always be treated as such.

Because there are real enemies in this world, and always will be.

And because we should strive to be a nation united at our core, even if divided in our political policy desires. A nation divided cannot stand.

    And we must always stand.

Thank you, to all those who served on 9/11, and served us since.

Hey maybe you could start this but not demonizing "liberals" each and every day, calling posters "liars" or denegrating their professions and telling them they couldn't cut it in the "real world"? :D

Just a friendly jab...I know we all get heated.

    +1 on your Wishes.

I love this country and it's people more then life itself. May this beloved country rise up and become the shining light it once was! We shall and will overcome! :usaflag:
