    One of the symptoms of gout is that it can cause severe discoloration of your limbs, or go in the opposite extreme where the pigment gets very very light....

    I had a major attack of teh gout a couple of years ago (before I turned 40). Thankfully, the good people of teh Hampur talked me through it and saved me from OD'ing on oxycodone or some other such fate. Teh Hampur truly DOES save lives!

    Since then, I have been taking Allopurinol and NSAID's whenever I feel the onset of symptoms (which, since taking Allopurinol regularly, has been infrequent). This has been working out great even though my diet still sucks.
