Nothing wrong with that. QL was a quality show especially compared to the reality tripe on TV now.

Pass. This looks like a wannabe Lost and I didn't even like that show.

I'm surprised no one has pieced together the total Avatar rip off. Get the actor from Avatar, put him in the same type-cast role, put him in a fictitious jungle environment..... need I go on?

Your viewership will be sorely missed.

Nope, we all saw it a hundred miles away tbh. So obvious, never even thought to mention it, but you're 100% correct. The General actor is a "good guy" of sorts instead of evil Oil Executive General (er, Unobtainium), but aye, it's got ALOT of Avatar. You know, excpet the Alien Native Americans, of course.

If you'd really like to test your Sci Fi Nerddom, +1 Internet points to the poster who correctly identifies the famous author (and which book) "borrowed" by Terra Nova in regards to the whole "magic space gateway that goes one way only and is used to save a dying polluted world by sending off colonists to a new Eden, but may not be all it's claimed to be" idea.;)

my problem is the plot devices. "dinos are exciting. we need to work some in to this week's episode. I know - lets have a kid's birthday party outside the main gate!"

    /facepalm

and did you check the fence? logs connecting steel pylons. no electricity. recipe for disaster.

Thanks for the compliment. I too thought it was clever.

I gotta agree... I was wondering how hard it would be for a dino to jump the thing...

They probably didn't want to build a monstrosity of a fence since it is likely one of the main focal points to the viewers...

A T-REX would run through that to grab some dinner, no problem.

They don't seem to be using real dinosaurs (well, the naming of them anyway) so I doubt we a 'T-Rex' in the show :P

I'm on the fence about this show. I couldn't get past the fact that the two daughters look exactly like the mother (with dark complexion) and the son looks like the dad (with light complexion) and then the two love interests of the kids look identical to them.

And the whole "sixer" thing... why not just kill them?? It would be stupid to start this new world and let people branch off and become your arch nemesis. You'd kill them all right away so that you wouldn't have enemies (besides dinosaurs).

For purposes of re-populating our species, I got dibbs on Maddy. Wow, Naomi Scott is cute. Great accent, too.

    I think there's a lot of 'sixers'...

Enough to guard the Quarry with which they need the mineral to provide energy I'm assuming...

We haven't gotten the full picture but the Commanders son is an interesting plot twist...

As are the seemingly alienesque drawings he's leaving on the falls...

Dibbs also on Shelley Conn. Is a mother/daughter thing (on the show) wrong of me to pursue?

    80's movie Millenium did that.

A good try, but the source material I'm referencing is quite a bit older than that.

I'm sure someone will get it, especially if they think about who is asking the quetion.;)

Carnosaurs were real; not sure about the pack dinos that attacked the kids.
85 million yrs ago is the Cretaceous period, so T-Rexs and Velociraptors were around. Also early mammals. Next week is about a Pterosaur infestation (like pteradactyls).

just thought of something: take 22nd technology back 85 million yrs, and by current times, its evolved to ...what? Flying cars?
