Fair enough, but I don't get what people see in her...she's a whiny stick figure of a woman.

As far as pop music goes she's the best of a bad bunch IMO. Don't get me wrong I like my deep self righteous hipster college radio **** to, but stupid fun music never hurts once in a while.

Nah, believe me I get it, just busting balls. I'm a big music guy and have plenty of guilty pleasures in my collection. Since you shared your guilty pleasure, I happen to really enjoy Katy Prerry's "Firework," haha!

    Anyway, new tunes...

The new self-titled Ryan Adams album kicks ass...an 80's Tom Petty vibe with darker tunes:

Listening to a lot of English and soul music lately. Only album to really blow me is Frank Oceans latest. Best soul album since R. Saadiq's Instant Vintage. Hard Rock is dead so I guess I am supposed to like hipster music. That'll be the day. Buy the latest Altar Bridge CD or online mp3s. Please.

This has always been a profoundly meaningful song to me. That said, the vocal rendition is meh, but the hook of all human-created instrument sounds is pretty damned cool:
