never took the blackberry out of my pocket the night of the Ravens game and the phone got washed. Not due for an upgrade any time soon. All internal indicators scream "water damage! no warranty for you"! Still dessicating in rice, hoping against hope it can revived.
So the other day I spilled a Fresca« on by B&W laser printer and ruined it. Gonna cost me about $400 to grab a new one. Got me thinking about little bonehead moves that cost me money. Not car accidents or big decisions or anything like that. Little goofs that end up costing money way in excess of the error. Mistakes where the ratio of the financial loss is way out of whack with the mistake. (i.e.: spilled soda =$400)
Anyone have something similar happen to them?
P.S.: Fire Shotty
A Fresca? Seriously? And how has no one even commented on this?
You couldn't have at least manned up and had a Fanta?
Well there was this one time I used a cheap rubber. Over the years I'd say it's cost me around $250,000.
Not for nothing, this was gold. My wife even larfed at it. And she thinks you're an idiot.
Actually she thinks we're all a bunch of idiots. Her departing comment was "don't you guys ever talk football on that site?".
I couldn't bring myself to tell her about the Pfail.
