Stadium Exit Plan from the Giants....

    Dear Giants Season Ticket Holder,

During the 2011 NFL season, the Giants, in partnership with the MetLife Stadium team, have been developing a plan to improve your experience while exiting the Stadium. Guests who are seated on the east side of the Stadium are welcome to walk around the perimeter of the plaza on both the north and south sides of the Stadium. For your safety, when walking along the north side of the Stadium, please be attentive to traffic and follow the instructions of Stadium staff.

In light of this policy change and in an effort to make each guest’s exit from the Stadium as efficient as possible, a cheat sheet has been created which offers the best exit routes from your seating section. Please locate your section on the chart below and follow the primary or secondary route. Research over the past year has shown that the stairs are the best exit option. The average exit time to the reach the Plaza from the 300 Concourse via a stairway is about 5-6 minutes.

I am waiting for that because the way I got led out of my 203A seats after the SD game was a complete roundabout clusterfu*k, including the smiling security watching our struggles to get out....

Last year, we found out that you cannot walk from the Metlife section to the Pepsi section in the plaza. It's actually blocked. The plaza is not 360 degrees and stupid security wouldn't let you walk outside of the plaza either. I have to walk around 3/4 of the stadium instead of 1/4. Dumbest thing ever. Poor design. I put this problem in one of the surveys the Jets sent to me after the season and was hoping they would resolve it one day.

I read somewhere that the Coliseum was designed so that all spectators would be able to leave the arena in a very short amount of time; the designers understood very well how to control crowd flow.

The Coliseum that was built about 1800 years ago. And oh by the way, it also had a retractable roof that only covered the crowd.
