If that song is for real (I was only able to get through a minute or two) it truly is the worst song ever recorded. lol
Thats right. LuLu, by Metallica and Lou Reed. Released statesside today.
It's amazing, after a well-recieved return-to-form in their "Death Magnetic" album, instead of riding that wave onto their next disk, Metallica do a full 180, and return the the depths of putridity of the "St. Anger" period.
So sad. So so sad.

Reminds me of my college radio Wednesday nights, after "getting in the mood" they would play a song and if you made it through till the end, the theory was weekend would come faster, if you bailed, weekend would take forever. If they played that song I would have had to leave.
The word Table just doesnt make sense anymore.![]()
Irrelevan-tica.
ELP...LOVE BEACH.
I think he's the table.
Metallica hasn't done anything good since the Black album and that was 20 years ago. They should have done the smart thing like Guns N' Roses and broken up right after they hit their prime.
Lars Ulrich is too busy blaming the internet for the downfall of the music industry. Look in the mirror buddy, the music you produce has been garbage since the mid-90's and it started before f'n Napster.
Agee to disagree, I think the so-called "Fans" who insta-hated the Loads and DM (and frankly most never gave them a shot) are simply closed minded morons who prefer Metallica got the route of AC/DC and simply re-release the exact same album every other year for the next 30 years, ad infinitum.
We have enough Metal band re-releasing the same album with a different title over and over, it's nice to have one that at least tries to do different things, and changes (in the case of teh Loads, showed their influences more), rather than regurgitates Master another 20 times.
With that said, the effort can and does backfire. The Loads were very hit or miss (although so were the early albums too if we're being honest, Trapped Under Ice anyone?), St. Anger was a disaster (due more to the bands lolrichguysmeltdown personally), and LuLu is just too horrible for words, mostly due to Lou Reeds horribad lyrics and voice, and James even worse background vocals (dear lord they're bad).
Is what it is, truth is I still think mopst internat haters hate because Metallica got int he way of their theft of music online, which for some crazy reason online folks seem to think is a basic human right.![]()
