What is the Best Car You Ever Owned?

I have owned maybe 13 cars in my life, lots of heaps in school and lots of cool cars to my current boring married guys car. But everyone has that one car they owned that was their coolest/favorite ever, that they wished they still owned.

My Favorite was a 1969 Black 2 door Dodge Charger, Looked just like the dukes of hazzard car. Mine was originally black from the factory with blue interior with 60,000 miles on it. All original. At the time I sold it I bought a red jeep wrangler thinking I was all cool, after three years of bouncing around in that thing and plenty of split coffee the wrangler was stolen. But I always Regret selling that black charger.

Anyone else have a favorite car they sold and wish they could get back?

    My first and my last.

1969 Chevy Camaro with a 350 cu inch V8, Ice blue with a black top, awesome looking rust in the wheel wells--when the 4 barrel carb opened up I could literally hear coins spilling out of the tail pipe. Sold it to my sister when I was in college and her soon-to-be husband (owned a body shop in Glen Cove) repainted it fire engine red with a brand new black top and Cragar wheels--he did a gorgeous mint-like job on it. Wish I had a picture of it--loved that car.

One of my current cars is easily my favorite--2004 BMW M3 Convertible Manual 6 speed with 334 hp V6 (E46).

Growing up, the 1969 Charger was one of my favorite cars that I never owned--the red one with the black top.

    I loved my M3, what a machine.

The coolest car I ever owned was definitely my '72 3.0 CS

it looked just like this one without the sunroof

Good criminals never run from crime scenes.

Luckily, it died right by work, so I pushed it into a spot and a few months later a dude I knew with a tow truck picked it up and I signed it over to him. That thing was costing me 60 bucks a week in gas over 20 years ago.

    Late 90's Ford Taurus

Durable, reliable, cheap, comfortable, and lasted through 12 years of total neglect and abuse and a massive number of miles.

I'm also a big fan of my Granded, then Dad's, mid 70's Ford T-Bird Battleship.

    1. 1983 Cadilac Eldorado with no busket seats. Great with the Girlfriend and my first tailgate mobile. Also served as a extra room in my shore house as it had AC. Died in NYC after a bad T-bone by a cab. The thick door saved my life...

    2. 2002 Jet Green Pathfinder. Served 9 tailgate seasons until last spring when it was time to let her go....

I used to drive a 1975 450sl back in the 90s, silver with black interior. Anyhow bought it from a guy who got it from original owner as trade in with 110K miles. Anyhow original owner from what I found in stacks of paperwork in glove box bought it in 1975 in Roslyn and apparantly was a swinger. Mercedes back then came with tons of factory material and in it I found poloroids from the swinging 70s hidden away in the owners manual. Owner looked like Ron Jeramy and he had full nude photos of himself at swinger parties!!! Back in 1975 that car was $20,000 brand new and was a favorite of wealthy wall street folks and coke dealers. I guess my car was a coke dealer's car. Not my favorite car only cause it was a big fat lemon that was poorly maintained. Spent a ton maintainig it. But after a cheap paint job and seat covers that car looked brand new and with top down every club I went to let me park right out front. Lesson learned, when buying high end German Cars used pay the extra for a well maintained one with receipts.
