The Jets miss Ben Hartsock. A lot.

More than Brad Smith, Jerricho Cotchery, Shaun Ellis or Jason Taylor.

And Mulligan has a lot to do with that.
Hartstock stunk too, but for more $$

Mulligan wouldn't be in there on a lot of passing plays if Rob Turner was healthy. Turner often checked in as an eligible receiver and stayed in as an extra blocker on obvious passing plays, and handled DEs and LBs well. Mulligan probably would not even be on the roster if Turner had not gotten hurt.

While the loss of a back-up offensive lineman in a preseason game might not seem like a big deal, this is the type of repurcussion that it has.

    The Turner injury was huge.
Interesting. Pats just released Dan Gronkowski, the blocking TE of the Gronkowski brothers. Possibility?
Definitely worth a look.
