Wild Card Depression calls for drastic measures. Suicide Pact Part Trios.

I freaking hate the Pats, I hate the uniform, the owner the HC. I hate watching football on CBS because Phil Sims and Jim Nantz sound like teenage girls in a tweeter when they talk about the Pats. I hate living in CT because it’s in NE. I hate being on Sunday night football because we all know the Pats make it a marquee game worthy of being on Sunday night. The thing I hate most about the Pats is losing big games to them when it matters. Sunday night is the biggest game this team has played since, holy hyperbole batman it’s only since last December?

Okay so we haven’t sucked for a few years but that’s not the point. Not that there really is a point. Lets face it most of us aren't having sex with the girls that Borgoguy is continually posting on this board reminding us of what losers we are. For most of the nerds on this board, a Lombardi for the Jets is about as good as it will ever get.

I know we were a game away from the SB in 09 and 10 but we all know that the road gauntlet through Indy and Pittsburgh were dead ends, false hope, another celebration put off till next year. No, cigars, no broken glass under foot with the $**t eating grin of victory lit up by piles of burning tires reflecting off the metal of turned over cars after our victory pillage through Miami and Dallas.

The road to glory dashed through the super computer of wild card luck or the road to glory earned through division supremacy? The years are ticking by faster than Calvary’s graveyard filling with the bodies of former Jets fans holding on for 1 more year only to find out they are tailgating on heaven’s doorstep. Based on the smell of that over cooked brat more likely a sign this is SOJ Hell?

I know come Friday if we don’t win this game the front page of JI is going to be filled with threads like Rex kisses Belicheats rings, Shotty sucks (It’s almost rhetorical at this point that’s how much Shotty does suck) can Sanchez really take us to the promised land? Greene is a bust, Ducasse is more than a bust he’s a bust with a fat ass., etc., etc. only to be pushed off by the inevitable spin machine by those sun shiners wearing green shades posting threads telling us it wasn’t that big a deal, according to my new super computer we can still make the playoffs if we beat Miami, Buffalo losses to NE and on the last game of the season Oakland, KC and SD losses and Cincinnati forfeits.

This is the thread for the real Jets fans the ones that are going to put it all on the line Sunday night have their rope at the ready, sleeping pill prescription refilled, cyanide capsule implanted, electric chair plugged in, warm bath drawn with razor blades ready, gun loaded, car in the garage running with the windows up, Stove on with the pilot light off, Seppuku sword at hand, ready to do the right thing should we lose this game. This is the season, no excuses no BS all in. This is the game where the butterflies are going all day the expectations of a battle coming down to the last few seconds with everything hanging in the balance. This is the game real Jets fans have been waiting for. I’m all in are you?

Suicide hotline on your speed dial?;)

Yeah we are pretty pumped here in Charlotte. Should have well over 100 , for a national game on TV Sunday nite, that's a good crowd.

This is the first time this season I'm putting money on a Jet game. They have to win and I believe that they will and I will put my money on this team because losing isn't an option come Sunday night.

As a Jets fan I'm in. Death is the only appropriate response to a loss this weekend in what is the biggest regular season game in years. If the Jets lose, I will kill FF2. Don't try to talk me out of it.

    First off, AWESOME READ!!

Having said that, this Jets team has jaded me to success (and lack thereof). Will I be upset if we lose? Of course. Feel like breaking anything within my reach? Most likely. Not read a paper/listen to radio until after the Denver game? You bet.

But think "It's all over"? Not a chance.

If this team has proven nothing else, it's that IT AIN'T OVER TIL IT'S OVER (even if Rex thinks it is:P). I have NO doubt we could run the table as a WC (I don't think Pitt was a "dead end" last year -- we gave them the game in the first half). There's not one team in the AFC that I think we couldn't beat on the road. Unfortunately, there's also no team I "guarantee" we would beat at home, which really makes the whole thing one big crapshoot of getting hot at the right time against the right teams.

Let's root like crazy for a W (which I fully expect), but it would be nice if we keep the suicide threads to a minimum if we don't . . .;)
