it reminds me when the jets best offensive threat was dedrick ward. and you look around the league and wonder why you don't have a guy who on another team would be even the 3rd option.

What year was that?? He was only a Jet for 4 years and Wayne and KJ were there at that time.. Except for 2000 when KJ was traded to the Bucs and we got Coles..

Any long time Jets fan who has been watching the Jets before Parcells came on board can identify with what this radio host is expressing about the Browns. It sucks when you know your team has no hope of becoming anything more than just fodder for other teams.

And Chrebet outperformed KJ that year anyway...

I can actually understand where he was coming. I can relate with Browns fans. I don't think they have ever been really obnoxious? They seem to just love their team which I can admire. And this is coming from a Jet fan too young to remember the Kotite years... lot of a credit to you guys who are still with us after that insanity.

Don't you remember the Dog Pound? It was Browns fans that originated throwing batteries are opposing teams players.

As a long time Browns fan (I was invited here by a friend who is a long time Jets fan), I can relate fully to this. At this point, I would take red right 88 or the drive over the embarrassment of three home games with no touchdowns!

The closest to a playoff game recently was 2007, but a Tony Dungy late season tank job ended that. Ask me how bad I feel for the Colts this year-let me cry some crocodile tears for them:)
