Thread: Two words PASS RUSH

    Two words PASS RUSH

The failure of Tannenbaum and Rex to address our non existent pass rush has made our play off chances slim. Brady had all night to throw and was never sacked. Until we obtain a pass rusher who can actually sack Brady we will be the also rans in the AFC east.

the only pass rush we had from a d-lineman was Shaun Ellis and Trevor Pryce, and Rex/Tanny let both those guys walk.
so yeah, they got what they deserved.

Maybin is all we have and he's only in 25% of the time

I don't think a pass rush will stop Sanchez from sucking.

Jets need pass rushers for sure, but the Jets D had chances to make game changing plays but didnt.

Wilson had a clear pick 6 and dropped it.

if you are blaming this loss on Sanchez you need a reality check

    McKnight fumbled = Pats TD
Greece couldn't catch it = Pats TD
The secondary was awful in the 2nd half
Holmes falls and Folk misses FG on the 1st drive

    that's why we lost

Were you at the gane? If not, you did not see Sanchez miss open guys down the field?

Every QB other than Brady/Rodgers/Manning misses open guys down the field. Ok, so Sanchez isn't elite and he never will be. Accept it. You don't need an elite QB to win a Super Bowl, even though it sure helps.

And also Sanchez had no pass protection in the 1st half, it's hard to step into throws downfield when nobody can block Andre Carter

Brady knew when to throw the ball & where.

There was some pressure on Brady, but not enough to bring him down.

Westerman made a nice play for the safety.

    Pace kept falling short.

    Maybin couldn't finish the job.

Yeah, we need a pass rush alright.

There was not pressure on Brady. Brady taking a step left or right does not count

Let's hope so. This loss was so bad it could stay with this team all season long.

Thankfully its only three days until our next game. The sooner we can move on from this one the better, but this was not just about pass rush. It was a total team collapse from the coaching staff on down in all three phases.
