Casserly: Tebow TD Should Have Been Flagged

He pointed out holding against Cromartie in the end zone.

Add that to the two unflagged hits on Sanchez and you can make the case that we were bamboozled by the refs.

This is no excuse for poor play by many Jets, but I get the distinct feeling that the refs have it out for us.

    Agree?

Agree, the refs failed in that game
I said the same thing in the Thursday Culprits thread

there is something called the home field advantage... and there is also a bias toward stars.

the Jets have lost 1 game at home this year, all the other losses have come on the road

i dont think the refs have it out for the Jets in specific but they have been the recipient of some bad home field/star calls this year.

Most of these games are decided by luck anyway.

look at the other side of the coin is it good for the national football league to call back a game winning TD from a star QB? A guy who sells a trillion overpriced jerseys?

people don't go to stadiums to see yellow laundry

pro sports has always been this way. it's entertainment.

they didn't call traveling on Michael Jordan either that's the way it goes.

Leave Tebow alone. He was able to win against the super bowl bound Jets. How about putting the blame on the Jets where it belongs.

Obviously you do not watch football. This year we see more yellow laundry then ever before. They also review every TD. And yes they have called back TDs from star QBs when the review proved the call was incorrect.

I guess the Jets have no home field advantage or stars! We have received several calls against us at home. Maybe we played better at home rather then receiving favoritism, per you , from refs? ya think?

obviously. did you see Revis' DTD against the Dolphins? They could have called that back too. The refs let big players make big plays. that's the league KY Jet. no I don't watch football i only argue about it :D

Sometimes you get the calls, sometimes you don't. Remember last year at Denver, the Jets got the pass interference call on Tone that basically won the game for them, placing the ball inside the 5 yard line.

Why were the Jets wearing their road whites against NE?
