Worst ever?

    Anything Rap.

    Anything Urban R&B.

    Anything Modern Country.

99.9% of Modern Rock & Alternative.

Too much crap out there to limit it to one song.

Indeed. How about crap songs from (former) great bands:

Yeah, right on. Only thing out there worth listening to is big band from the 20's, and anything with a harpsichord.

    Rap fan or country fan?

Or are you the rare Rappin' Country Fan?

The future of music is here, and it's an Rapper in a Cowboy Hat with a Telecaster beatboxing about his pickup truck and his dog to a slippery (sampled) Bassline.

    **** is tight.

Muskrat Love epitomized the extra-extra crappy music emanating from the decade of the 1970s". Disco Duck", "Billy Don't Be a Hero", Seasons in the Sun", "Kung Fu Fighting", "The No No Song", ... all on a.m. radio, all day and night.

Agree with that Jethro Tull abomination.

Locomotive Breath remains, IMO, his best song.

But lay off of Phil, man. Invisible touch wasn't THAT bad.

It's the MUSIC VIDEO that sucked. Phil was such a troll-face on TV. :D :D :D

BTW, kind of funny that at the top-right of the screen said "VH1 80s" but Invisible Touch came out in '92.

LOL - you may be on to something there.

Not a rap or a country fan. I do enjoy some occasional Snoop, and an occasional counrty song about drinking beer. I'm more of a heavy metal listener than anything else. Except now that it's sports season, I 99% listen to talk radio.

I just don't agree with your point that everything is crap.

P.S. - you forgot to include the harpsichord.

Hmm. I grant you, "All I Need" is not quality music, but it actually is well-structured pop-song. Sure it sucks and it is cheesy, but there is a melody there. Plus it peaked at #2. "Rock On" hit #1 and isn't actually a song. And that video. I could write an essay on that video with the two Corey's!

EDIT: Especially from the 2:24 mark where Feldman slips doing the whitest Michael Jackson move ever. And then rolls into Michael Damian doing some strange motion with his hand as if to physically say "I've got nothin".

Okay, this is the worst thing I ever heard. But was it actually released by a record company? Did it rank anywhere?

Okay, this is the worst thing I ever heard. But was it actually released by a record company? Did it rank anywhere?
Yes, it was released in 1969, although on a minor label. A Rolling Stone review of the record, Philosophy of the World said the following: "Like a lobotomized Trapp Family Singers, the Shaggs warble earnest greeting-card lyrics (...) in happy, hapless quasi-unison along ostensible lines of melody while strumming their tinny guitars like someone worrying a zipper. The drummer pounds gamely to the call of a different muse, as if she had to guess which song they were playing - and missed every time."

Zappa, ever the ball busting genius, called The Shaggs, who hail from Timmy's New Hampshire (Connection?), "better than the Beatles". LOL. Here's a link on Wiki should you require more information on The Shaggs.
