Sanchez says Jets wont make playoffs if offense doesnt improve

Looks to me like theres a hidden message in this statement.

In other news, the Jets won't make the playoffs if they don't win enough games to make the playoffs.

Not much new here, except for the idea that the stagnant offense might be getting to Sanchez. I think how he performs the rest of the season will speak volumes about his resilience, which we currently think is off the charts.
“Not a chance,” Sanchez said on The Michael Kay Show on ESPN 1050 Radio. “Not even close. We play like that again, lose the turnover battle, lose time of possession, all those stats – I think our chances of winning the game were probably somewhere like 20, 30 percent chance. Maybe less. Maybe in the teens. Because you can’t win like that. That’s not a winning formula.”
MY GOD.

    Very Encouraging article.

This kid needs to feel pressure, and know he needs to improve. His time is running short here.

    Here in 2011? Definitely.

    In his career? Not a chance . . .

Exactly my point. Glad to see someone sees it. When have we heard from Sanchez in the media up until now?

Theres a thread here about Sanchez hollaring at someone on the sidelines.

If the Jets score less points than their opponents in each of the next 5 games they will finish the season at 6-10

I should email this shocking analysis to Michael Kay so he and LaDrecka can devote an entire 4 hour radio show to it

Coming from you this means nothing. A statement made by our starting QB means alot more.

I don't see Sanchez calling out Schotty in that whatsoever.

He's basically saying "I need to play better."

Imagine that? People could turn a Rex Ryan fart into a fire Schottenheimer point on here.

Looks like another time-out is in order.

This year Shotty is gone. (scapegoat).

If Sanchez doesn't improve as a QB, hell be cut after next season. The boos and pressure are already starting. Mr Turnover has alil over a year to prove himself.

I thought the same thing. Borderline personal attack. In the mods I trust.

i think sanchez is going out of his way to blame everything on himself to underscore how absurd it is that all the problems on offense this year have been his fault. and this, after throwing 4 tds. he's basically saying that he's single-handedly responsible for run and pass blocking, the running game, wrs getting open and the play calling. no qb except for maybe peyton manning can bear that amount of responsbility.
