I heard someone say on the radio that Sanchez leads the league in game winning drives since he came into the league, but I haven't seen any list or anything to "prove" it. I'm curious where you heard this?

I heard Colin Cowherd say that, but I couldn't find it either.

Are they publishing this all over the football websites and newspapers, like they do all the negative stuff on Sanchez? I don't see this tidbit on NFL.com but I see DeAngelo's negative comments there.

Sanchez has 3 4th Q comebacks this year, compared to 1 for Tom Brady and 0 for Aaron Rodgers.

Career-wise, Sanchez has twice as many as Rodgers.

This clearly proves that Mark Sanchez is one of the best QBs in the National Football League, and anyone attempting to use actual statistics that may allow you to judge Sanchez' performance accurately among his peers is a SOJF.

Exactly...How many does Tebow have?

Does that make him a great QB?

Come on folks we're reaching here with this - Sanchez has not been, is not now and will not be a quality NFL quarterback.

Stats lie--whats the Jets record, and more importantly---has Sanchez gone backwards---We all know the answer to that.

A better stat would be when you were down in the 4th quarter, how many times have you come back.

For Sanchez, he probably wins half the games he is down in the 4th.

Brady and rogers probably win 90% of the games when they are down in the 4th,.

The only reason Rodgers and Brady do not have more 4th quarter comebacks is because they put the nail in the coffin early.

What's the Jets record under Sanchez?
2 AFC Championship game appearances
4 Road playoff wins
6-5 Record this year and a decent chance at making the playoffs

And don't forget that many QBs have lead their teams to 12-4 records only to lose in the first round. Those QBs are called shallow chokers who only put up stats but come up small in big games. Sanchez appears to be the opposite but instead of calling him clutch you latch on to every negative you can find.

And its not like he has been surrounded by players like Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson or larry fitzgerald on offense.

Most of you guys think you are professional critics like the guys you hear on the radio or TV and your task is to find the negative in players so you think you are insightful. I prefer to be a homer and root for my players success and find the positives in what they do.

You are so right!!!!!

As I said on other posts why don't you start a PETITION to get Sanchez's horrific butt out of here so that we can get back to the championship SB winning QB play we have had out here over the last 40 years!!!!

Good Grief!!!!

as I was posting Mark Sanchez' career NFL record, I was thinking of asking the JI community to provide a list of those Jet quarterbacks since 1960 with better records...

you essentially answered the question

NONE

Let me understand your position...Because the Jets haven't been very good over the past 40 years we should settle for a less than mediocre QB now?

We shouldn't want a quality NFL QB leading the team?
Good Grief!!!
