Sanchez' "Battered Pass Syndrom" begs the Q: Will he ever have a vertical game?

    Appx 30 per season.

    Appx 100 in 3 seasons.

    How many drives killed?

Do defenses know we run the ball 100% of the time after a pass is batted?

Can Sanchez REALLY see deep down the MIDDLE of the field?

ps - yeah, I'm glad we won *ouches!

When it comes to batted balls I remember listening to an interview last season with Sean Payton about Drew Brees. He was saying that it is a major focus for the O line to help create throwing lanes and cut the defenders at the line. He realizes that Brees is shorter and not able to stand back there and look over the line. When watching the Saints game last night they even mentioned that Brees takes a farther drop than normal to get a better look as well.

I am not sure if the Jets are as focused on creating better lanes or giving Mark better separation to see over the middle, but it does seem to be working for the Saints.

He has 10 Batted Passes this year and 29 in his career. Where are you even getting these numbers?

Even though Vick has been banned (under several names) he gave us the one great quote to remember whenever Schroy/Jetman73 starts a thread:

"You are so dumb, you make dumb people look not dumb".

Dude, Brees is a charitable 6'0; Sanchez is 6' 2". Stafford is also 6' 2" - same as Favre and same as Montana.

6' 2" may be smaller than some NFL QBs - but Sanchez is hardly Doug Flutie.

I now own the copyright on that, so the next correspondence you receive from me if I see it used again without my express permission will be a cease & desist, followed by a strong rebuke.

    And maybe a noogie.

    Possibly.
