He will be long gone by the time we pick in the first round. And no trading up right now. We need as many pics as possible the next couple years.

Not even a remote chance this happens. Would be awesome though but it's a dream

Well, you need to stop listening to whoever told you that.

Mathieu* is a true sophomore. He's not draft eligible this year, so stop trying to argue it.

when he does come out he will be a eric berry style elite pick. very high indeed... pending workouts... The dude knocks people out and makes tons of plays.

LSU DB Eric Reid is another draft inelig baller (jersey #1) who could be a late rd 1, ed reed style.

    1) He is a sophomore
    2) He is a CB not a safety and numero 3 will point that out
    3) He is 5'7"
I figured someone that ran a draft site would pick up this info.

Isn't there a draft forum for questions like this?

Or is it a call for attention?

    I'm not sure.

    1) Yes, he is a true sophomore.

    2) Mathieu is a versatile player. Chavis using him at nickel, dime, and at ...wait for it, ...wait for it, SAFETY.

    3) He's 5'8. The same height as Jimmy Leonhard and Bob Sanders. His weight is his only knock right now. He's listed betweem 175 and 180, but players can put on weight.

He'll likely finish out his career at 185.

So you are projecting him coming out as a 5'8" safety at 185 lbs? Guys a playmaker, but I don't see safety.

Well, LSU lists him at 5'9, but we'll see about that when he's measured at the combine.

He's a true sophomore and he's already tied the record for most forced fumbles is a SEC football career.

The kid's best chance in the NFL is at safety.

Also seen him listed at 5'7" and he's not getting any taller. The two players you compare him to are completely different.
Jimmy is slightly better than a jag with similar size and much less speed. Completely different type of player.
Sanders is built way differently and even he could not hold up to the rigors of the nfl.
I like TM but i'm thinking amazing nickel or even a good outside CB even at that height with his aggressiveness.
Now comparing him to a Berry or his draft status is asinine.

I did not compare him to Jimmy Leonhard or Bob Sanders. I said he was the same height as them.

If you want a prospect comparison, I'll give you one: Ed Reed.

I haven't seen a defensive back make this much of an impact on the game since Reed.

Mathieu will not sniff the top five of the draft like Eric Berry. I do think he'll go in the first round. I'm thinking between 25-32.

The dude is a freak. He beat my hogs....HE did. Sign this freak and move him to safety. He'll be able to reach every spot on the field from there.
Honey badger doesn't give a sh!t, he takes what he wants...usually the ball.
He deserves the Heisman, that hurts me to say seeing as how I dislike 'The Eww', but they're the best this year and he's their best player.
