The Beastie Boys, who have been blending hip hop, punk and other genres since the 1980s, also made it onto the Hall of Fame's final list for 2012, alongside Guns N' Roses, the hard rock standard bearers of the late '80s and early '90s, and Laura Nyro, the innovative pop songstress.

The induction ceremony will take place on April 14 in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Chilli's, gnr, and the Beasties. Sounds like a hell of a venue. I hope Axel doesn't try to own the spotlight. He is the biggest douche to ever excell in hard rock, but that ted headed stepchild can put on a show.
Saw the Beasties in Damingus hills Ca at Lallapalooza in 94 and they melted my face off. Wow, the came on right after P-funk and it was the best 2 band stretch of any festival.
Wtf... did he let you back stage or something? Does he secretly have a harem of 20 somethings that he let's you play with? Did he pay you? Why the hell would you even bring him up during a R&R hof thread. That's not even good comedy.
You say something bad about him right now mister.
