funny to see all of the "who gives a ****" comments. I think having him around for even more depth was great and that he does have talent. Oh well, can't win em all I suppose.
Yes and we all could see that talent displayed on a weekly basis.
Tanny just doesn't know how to run a team.
The Bills made an addition to their defensive line Saturday signing DL Jarron Gilbert.
Gilbert has spent most of the last two seasons (2010-11) on the New York Jets practice squad. He appeared in one game for the Jets against Buffalo in last year's season finale, recording one tackle for a two-yard loss. The 6-5, 285-pound San Jose St. product originally entered the NFL as a third-round draft choice of the Chicago Bears in 2009.
Gilbert appeared in four games with the Bears before being released prior to the 2010 season.
To make room on the roster for Gilbert the Bills also announced that LB Antonio Coleman has been released.
we haven't had a great deal of success with Colemans...
Marcus, Eric, Drew
maybe Choo Choo Coleman is available
Actually, we gotten good run out of the "Colemans"...
Marcus was a solid corner and was part of a good cornerback tandem with Aaron Glenn, until we decided to let them go to the Texans in the expansion draft. He exceeded the expectations of a team who drated him in the 5th round.
Erik was a solid starting safety for us, until we changed the defense from 4-3 to 3-4. Again, another 5th round selection who was solid for us, when much was not expected.
Drew was okay (4 starts as a rookie), until Mangini (my guy, lol :O) benched him for slipping against the Bears in his rookie year to give up the only touchdown in the game. Where was the help on that quick hitch from the defense by the way? He was a "terror" coming up with 4 sacks and a fumble for us last season. Not bad for a guy we got in the 6th round of the draft.
