    Really looking forward to this.

Just about the only movie I'm looking forward to.

I still don't know where I stand on the rumored Blade Runner prequel. Part of me is dying to see it, especially with Scott having full control over the project. But the other part of me never wants it to see the light of day because I know it will never come within a lightyear of the first film.

I think this movie is going to be awesome. I read a little bit online and wish I hadn't. It ties directly into Alien if true.

Lol, the first thing I thought of too. Though I was more a fan of Action League Now.

Looks really cool, though the decision to switch it from an "Alien" prequel to this is a bit confusing/worrisome.

    Holy sh*t! You're not kidding.

Towards the end of the trailer, you could see the "Pilot" that they found in the ship on LV426....and the crescent shape of the ship in this movie kinda looks like the crashed remains from the original Alien movie.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Looks like Scott is doing justice with this prequel.

The only thing I don't care for is the hyper-technological look of the ships and equipment in thos movie (it's 2012, not 1979..so today's special effects are much better)...but the one thing I did like about the original was the way their ship looked dark, dirty and kinda like a POS. But I'm still stoked to see it...

It definitely is the same ship. Kind of interesting thing with those containers appearing to be laid out like the eggs were in 'Alien'. If memory serves, the original backstory given at the time of 'Alien' was that the crescent ship guys had found/collected the eggs and crashed on LV426.

It opened in France, where one of my friends just moved to. He saw it and told me that he was disappointed.

I wish I didn't read the plot a few months ago. That probably didn't help for him, as he did the same.

I watched all the previous alien films in preparation for this movie. Great movies, not including the alien vs predator films which is hot garbage.

The music for Prometheus is freaking scary as hell. Can't wait for it. I haven't watched a movie in a movie theater in the longest time.

I have this thing for liking movies that other people hate. At least that's what my wife says.

I have my tickets to see it Friday in IMAX. Should be sweet.

A review I read said the less you know about it going in, the more you'll enjoy it, so I've been steering clear of plot details.

    Never saw Mystery Men.

But I quite liked Last Action Hero. Campy good fun IMO, not to be taken seriously, just lol'd at/with for camp value.

it did a vastly better job at the parody genre that any of the Wayans dominated "Scream" or "Teen Movie" crapfests.

Whoa. Chris Elliott in "Scary Movie 2" was beyond brilliant.
