    What big name guys?

Finley is the only guy on that list that will require a big contract.

Finley drops just as many if not more balls than Keller.

Other than that, I like it.

Why Meachem over Braylon Edwards? My concern is we head into another season where you handcuff our young QB with another receiver he is not familiar with. Bring back Braylon and it will not cost us a lot of money.

As much as I like the job Mr. T has done, this was a huge mistake. BE made Tone look as good as he did last year. That is a fact. You can see it in Tone's game this year. We need that big physical target theat BE brings. Besides, he, more than anyone else, WANTED to be here. There's something to that and has value imo.

    Free agency:

    QB: Shaun Hill/ David Carr
RB: Ray Rice (pretty much off limits) /Matt Forte/ MARSHAWN LYNCH (Please God)
WR: Reggie Wayne/ Vincent Jackson/ Desean Jackson/ Dwayne Bowe/ Mike Wallace/ Braylon Edwards
    TE: Jermichael Finley/ Fred Davis
    OT: Demetrius Bell
    OG: Carl Nicks/ Ben Grubbs
    DT: Antonio Garay
    LB: Mario Williams (off limits)
CB: Brent Grimes/ Carlos Rogers/ Cortland Finnergan
    S: Laron Landry/ Michael Griffin

Need to sign at least 3 of these guys. Ton of talent in free agency

Realistically, no way we get any of those WRs except Edwards. We can't afford to tie up money in another big contract to a WR and all those guys have their problems.

None of the TEs are happening. Keller's good and Cumberland will come back from injury. He showed flashes in the limited amount of time.

We don't need a corner. I'd spend big on going all in on a safety whether it's Landry or Griffin, as well as OL to replace Hunter. I think Hunter and Smith are the two current starters that most need to be replaced.

I'd trade down in the draft and use it as a means for depth. We haven't had a depth draft in years and it has come back to bite us. We don't have the depth to handle injuries. Losing Robert Turner was huge as we lost three of the biggest games this season bc our offensive line was absolutely crippled with no Mangold. We don't have a safety to adequately fill in for Leonhard when hurt. I like what we did with depth on the D-line and need to continue in other areas.

Finley might be out of the price range, and is a little redundant anyway. Not a big fan of Sanders...Big fan of Upshaw.

    You open flood gates.

UT, you are one of my favorites. I like your mock, but I would make a couple of tweeks.

    1) I don't want to rely on a rookie at RT after the abortion that Hunter was this year. I would like to see a mid level FA there.

    2) I like Finley, but I don't want to tie up too much money at TE. I may be crazy, but I'm still intrigued by Cumberland. I think he can be a FA surprise for us.

    3) Upshaw is good, but our defense is much better than our offense and I want to see our passing game addressed in round 1. I would go after Michael Floyd in round 1 and pursue a developmental OLB in the second round, such as Vinny Curry or the dude from FSU.

Braylon is cheap and is much more value for money/familiarity with Jets/Sanchez etc.
Cumberland still has a very high ceiling.

Finley will go about 5 and 35mill
Griffen and Meachem both about 4 and 20

These are not scrubs but nfl starters.

There are only two good safeties who are FA, Griffen and Landry.

so no other team is going to be in the bidding for those other guys. I highly doubt we could win 5 fa bids unless no one else is bidding.
