    Can't be good.

    Beli all over again?

Usually his daily pressers are a little later than 2:15.

I was hoping it'd have to do with Schitty being fired, but it's probably just nothing. His weekly PC is always a good soundbyte and I guess ESPN has nothing better to do today.

I agree. Want to televise him eating crow.

It is fun to speculate. Maybe they he is stepping down and Woody is announcing a 10 year extension with Schotty.

I think if it was something major, one of the beat writers would've known about it by now.

He's going to tell the world that we're a better team than the Dolphins, that we're beating the Dolphins and we're going to the Super Bowl.

And it doesn't matter what the Raiders, Bengals, Titans or Broncos do, because it's the team that TALKS the most about winning and being better that gets into the playoffs.

Seems very unusual. ESPN has never really done this before with Rex. And its before a game against the Dolphins which while a big game for us, is not a big game in the cosmos of the NFL, considering all the playoff problems.

Is ESPN that desperate for news and entertainment, or does Rex have something up his sleeve?

Ironically enough, his career so far with the Jets would actually prove that to be true, lol.

Rex is stepping down, and Shotty will be named Head Coach for 2012.

And then, I realize, I've died, and I am in hell.

Calm down, this is a usual presser for Rex. The key is that it is being televised. Why?

Why is ESPN televising it though? They, to my knowledge, have not televised a Rex Ryan press conference before in the regular season.

    Are they that desperate?

Exactly. Yea, Rex is good TV, but how often is he aired LIVE? They usually just take soundbytes from earlier on in the day.

Perhaps it's just the "fire schotty" trooper in me, but I think it could be some bigger news than just Rex's usual talk.

Also, let's not forget that this is ESPN, AKA the Tebow Network. Why would they give Rex Ryan LIVE air-time when they could be discussing Tebow?
