6 batted down passes, 2 interceptions, 1 lost fumble, 1 safety

In one game. That has to be some kind of record. 10 plays that should have moved the chains but instead hurt the offense.

Great idea putting a picture of Eli on the cover of the Jets playbook. Looks like doing so inspired the wrong team.

ALL the batted passes, the fumbles and the safety are the result of poor protection.

That's what happens when you constantly design pocket plays for a 6' 2" QB. Sanchez needs to roll out more.

Agreed. I saw the movie Gattaca where Ethan Hawkes character had surgery on his shins to make himself taller. Mark is just not willing to do whatever it takes to be successful.

Don't forget about the other 2 fumbles that got overturned by the refs. Tuck rule, lol

Batted passes are the result of an extremely predictable offense. The blame again falls on poor playcalling, poor pass protection, and WR's that can't get separation downfield. Sanchez is plenty tall enough to make all the throws in the NFL, but when EVERYONE knows the ball is going to be a quick slant, it's very easy for a DLineman to jump up and bat the ball down.

The safety is not on Sanchez...
The fumble is bad, but Mangold is partially to blame, no?
The second INT was essentially in garbage time.

mangold not partially to blame...he is entirely to blame. he snapped the ball off the inside of his left leg.

1 pick came in garbage time, the fumble was a bad snap by an all pro center, the safety was whistled dead before the play was actually over (loss of forward progress or some crap)

Coming from the guy who thinks Sanchez is an All-Pro. Let's not forget the two fumbles Sanchez had that the refs overturned which were very bad plays by him that he just got lucky on. The guy had a horrible horrible game, there's no other way to put it. 59 pass attempts for 250 yards is something you would expect from Blaine Gabbert or Christian Ponder, not a guy in his 3rd year that is supposed to be taking a step forward.

Sanchez's play the last 2 weeks was entirely unacceptable and very substandard for NFL QB. He has to improve. He has a lot of work to do.

Sanchez needs a huge jump in progress. The first step is to eliminate Schotty from the equation.

Stop with the Giants were inspired by this and that.....

They had a funny way of showing it....Jets score a TD on their first drive....I guess the inspired Giants were lulling the Jets to sleep...

Here is what the ultra inspired Giants did their first 5 possesions....

3 plays...5 yards..punt
3plays...-2 yards..punt
6 plays...17 yards..punt
9 plays...53 yards..FG
3 plays...5 yards....punt

Even after turning a 10 yard pass into a 99 yard TD with poor tackling by Cro and Wilson and great angle by Eric Smith....The super inspired Giants were so pissed about having their LOGO covered and Eli pictured that they did this in their first 3 series of the 2nd half...

3 plays.....2 yards..punt
3 plays.....9 yards..punt
4 plays....29 yards..punt

Quite inspiring....5 3&outs....7 punts and 3 points scored in those 8 possesions...

The only thing that inspired the Giants was the Jets poor play...It had absolutely nothing to do with anything else unless the Giants only decided to get inspired 3/4 into the game....

Agree 100%.

The Giants did not play well. The Jets offense is just so entirely inept at this point, the offense the Jets showed the past two weeks is as bad as I've ever seen.

lucky? they were pretty obvious calls, nothing lucky about it. Eli was 9/27. Is that what you expect from a 32 year old "franchise" qb?

Also taking deeper drops would help, defenses know 99% of the time Sanchez is 3 step dropping and throwing on a short pattern, that makes it so much easier for them to time their jumps to bat the ball down. Would also help with Sanchez being short to see down field better
