No Matter What Happens on Sunday

Rex will still be the only Jets coach in history without a loosing season.

The worst we come out is 8-8.

Sanchez is still our winningest QB in the post season.

Those should be the4 only 2 stats anyone needs to look at.

Don't forget Belichick's 0-0 mark as Jets head coach, over two stints.

Also Al Groh 9-7 in his only season.

And Parcells never had a losing season with Jets either. Worst was 8-8 in 1999.

Who gives a ****? Those two stats aren't exactly the silver lining to what's been an extremely disappointing season.

While I do understand where you're coming from, we have 1st round picks and super expensive talent all over this team. The last few years we had some of the most talented Jets rosters in history.

The fact we are on the verge of missing the playoffs is unaccceptable. Especially when teams like Cincy, Denver, Oak and Tenneesee could get in over us.

With Rex, yes, to a point. He's been successful, and a victim of his own expectation-raising tactics to a point.

With Sanchez, no. Yes, he has four wins. That's good. How much credit do you want to give him for beating SD with 100 total yards passing, 4.3 ypa and a 60 rating? I don't think he deserves much of the credit there.

He certainly has had some good playoff games (NE, Cincy) but he is not nearly as good as his playoff record indicates. The elite defense and elite OL we had those years had far more to do with those wins.

At this point in time, Mark Sanchez without a top-5 defense and best-in-league OL is the guy we saw this year. Hopefully he improves.

Hopefully no matter what happens the Jets revamp the O-Line, bring in a WR who can actually stretch the field (Calling Mr. Edwards) and get rid of Schitty once and for all!

Especially for a team that was basically going all in to, first win the division, then get home playoff games and then make a run to the SB.

No offense but it's more of an indictment of the past success of the Jets. That's not something that championship teams hang their hat on.

I'm just saying....set the bar higher. I'm not trashing Rex but it's a pretty low bar you're setting there.
