    Revis was spectacular last week

Probably his best game of the season.

Too bad Kyle Wilson didn't. If fans want to point fingers someone who looked like they were progressing then started regressing he's your man-been lousy since the ball bounced off him in the home Pats game.

agreed. Revis touched the ball more than Nicks did. This went overlooked because of the bad loss but Revis was absolutely lock down in that game.

If the Jets had a quality pass rusher, Cro and Wilson would look more like Revis.

Our most dependable player. He really made an impact on that game, but his teammates let him down bigtime. I'm sure he was fuming after the 99 yard Cruz play.

Agree, may have been his best game of the season, and that's saying a lot.

I truly believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and has the right to post their thoughts here.

    But

These are the threads that drive me up a wall. We lost 29-14 and Revis was "Spectacular". The previous week we got flattened with a 45 spot. Were any of them spectacular in that disaster?

This whole team/organization is mediocre. The WHOLE TEAM, every single one of them, mediocre, average, nothing special.

    Period.

    8-8 is average. Not Spectacular.

Thank you (I had wanted to respond with, "Who gives a f**k?"). Your post is perfectly stated and exactly how I feel. This is a franchise whose fans are giddy over "table scraps".

I understand that you're upset about the loss. But you being upset, and the Jets losing (and being 'mediocre, average, nothing special' doesn't take away from the fact that Revis played a great game.

And if he hadn't been, we would have lost by even more, end result the same, so what's the difference? And it's not about one loss it's about the entire season and the mediocrity that starts at the top with this organization. Very questionable personnel moves since Rex has taken over.

So Revis is just an average middle of the road player? Man I wish someone would have told him that before he shut down essentially every #1 he has ever faced. Oh well heres to mediocrity.

So a single player's performance can't be highlighted even though the team as a whole stunk it up? Incredible

Must suck to see the world as black and white.....

To be honest, while it doesn't matter 'cause the end result was that the Jets lost, I think we can somewhat agree that Revis KEPT THE JETS IN THE GAME with his play.

At one point it was 20-14 and the way the Jets played there was no way they should've been even that close....Revis says Hi.

    No, it wasn't.

He played good coverage, but there were no INTs, no Pick-6's, no game changing plays.

You have to understand, you're dealing with folks who think syndicating porn and mimicing the Internet meme du jour within these hallowed halls = "creativity"
