Leonhard has the makings of being a real good coach when he hangs them up...

Leonhard's heard 4-6 mos for the recovery, a very different process than his injury last yr. 100 % confident he'll be in NFL next year.

The Jets need a back up QB they are willing to play if needed, not the reincarnation of father time....

He needs to go. It's a miracle Sanchez hasn't been hurt this year (yet) with this shoddy offensive line. I'd hate to see another season wasted if Mark goes down early next year.

If we can fix the defense and the o-line in the off season with a few smart FA acquisitions and drafting for depth we could have average QB play and still make a run (see 2009 and 2010).

Brunnell does not bring us average QB play.

If the choice were between McElroy and Brunnell, give me McElroy as our 2nd string - but we better find someone else that is cheap and available and has some experience.

    Retire Brunell.

    Looks like a $8.5M cap hit....Otherwise I wouldn't mind..He's far from a Captain.

Man, why did I read that... ruined my weekend. Hunter's numbers vs. Greene's or McKnight's alone are enough to make you scream.... I know life isn't fair but damn!

And this is probably for another thread: Greene may not be Jim Brown, but he has made some great progress these last couple of games, be nice to focus on who this team can grow for the future instead of who should be fired or who sucks just because they haven't lived up to the press's expectations instantly.

    Just a thought
