You know what else kind of hurts...

The AFC playoffs is filled with beatable teams. The Jets of the last 2 years could've beaten anyone in this tournament on the AFC side.

The Pats offense is their offense, but their defense is more than suspect.
The Ravens are hit or miss. They have plenty of stupid losses to bad teams.
The Texans are holding their team together with glue, staples, and rubber bands.
The Broncos have a QB who can't throw.
The Steelers have an injured QB and are missing their starting RB.
The Bengals are a good story, but they're very young and you don't know how they'll react.

The Jets just had to finish like that this year...not saying they'd beat any of the top NFC team, but they would've at least had another shot to go to the Super Bowl.

You just answered your own complaint. This team was not as talented as the past two years.

Wow I didn't even pay attention to the Bengals until now. The D consists of Pouha Central (we have Pouha East obviously, the 49ers have Pouha West) and then a cast of Forgotten Former First Rounders. Reggie Nelson, who actually seems to have had a good season...Nate Clements...Leon Hall, aka Not Revis....Thomas Howard...hm...seems like there was more...if you take it into the second than you get Rey Maualuga, Taylor Mays, Pat Sims, Dunlap (1st?), and Michael Johnson.

The Ravens are a real rival now...they have the same profile of our team (great D, garbage QB, heavy reliance on the running game)...the difference being an elite playmaker on offense to bail out their garbage QB and the fact that Sanchez/Rex? is scared crapless of their D. The fact that they're in the playoffs and Los Yets is a little annoying to me.
