Who cares about Van Halen--THESE GUYS are opening up for them!!

Loved Kool and the Gang back in the day--hey, we went to a lot of discos on Long Island and Syracuse--that's where the chicks were :D

Actually pretty excited to see this show tomorrow night. Haven't listened to the new VH album, heard it wasn't great--no need to disappoint myself beforehand.

that's the weirdest pairing of groups I've seen:eek:

Strange.... ranks right up there with Bette Midler opening for Megadeath
All fairness, should be a great show. The new VH is good if you like the old stuff. Less vocals and alittle faster than the Haggar days

"Jungle Boogie" and "Hollywood Swingin'" have two of the greatest bas lines ever recorded.

A bit of an odd pairing. But not too odd. Depends on where in the catalog you look. These two numbers rock as hard as many VH songs and, no, I'm not joking.

Wasn't a big Haggar fan, but I did kind of like Finish What You Started and Why Can't This Be Love (kind of a soutside anthem, no?)

I listened to everything. Jazz to pop. Always loved the funk tunes from the 70s.
