Maybe we would be better suited to hire and train the all-female bar/wait staff.

There's a pub by me that has 2 women bartenders on Friday nights.

One is a bit heavy, not particularly cute.

The other is a total piece of azz, wears belly shirts, low cut shirts to show perfect cleavage, REALLY pretty.

We wouldn't hire the first one.

Check out Tampa if your looking into Florida cities. Great little city with good night life. Plus the best strip clubs in the country.

:D

Check into Dallas and the surrounding areas as well...

The nightlife in Addison is specifically catered to people in their mid 20's and there's no shortage of strange roaming...

I'd move to Austin though, given the chance with my current job, simply because you can go out on a Tuesday and can't tell the difference from a Friday...

Plenty of jobs in Texas in general though. The state basically scoffed at the rest of the country while it was in turmoil and just kept right on moving...

I would definitely frequent a bar ran by the two of yous. I presume there would be a "backdoor special", a house brew of "Short Guy Amber" and free drinks whenever you come in dressed in a red robe?

The mini bar? Designed by Stokes and is actually only 3 feet high.

But Borgo's design for the bathroom sinks was interesting.

If I were young and just starting out again, I'd do it in either So. Cal. or Chicago. Chicago is my favorite northern city by a long shot. Texas blows, although Austin and San Antonio are better than Houston or Dallas. The south is just too slow and backwards, especially if you're from the northeast. Tampa is the pits as is most of Florida. Sarasota is okay but not for a young person IMO.
You can have my job. For some reason, my bosses think it's a good idea to have an idiot like me as their asset manager. I make 15 year pro formas, development budgets and partnership agreement financial statements that I have no idea what I'm doing with. I keep telling them that it's detrimental to the company to have me preparing financial documents like that. The sub-woofer under my desk and the death metal emanating from my office should have been a dead giveaway.

Help me....

At some point, I'm gonna end up costing them hundreds of thousands of dollars because I forgot to carry a "1". I can only lean on my Excel ability for so song. :O
With a bit of Adriana Lima and Mila Kunis thrown in for good measure.

That last shot lying in the surf has me agog. I want to both worship, and defile, her adorable tummy.

Wow, just wow.

I was born in CT and lived in CT and around Boston all my life before moving down here almost 7 years ago.
And I love it here!

Austin, TX
Boulder, CO
Charleston, SC
California (several locations)

Ideas? Million dollar job offers? Jokes about being unemployed?
I could definitely handle Austin or Boulder.

Boulder is also pretty close to Fort Collins which is another cool college town.

I believe you said you graduated Union College. Maybe you should set up a bachelor crib in downtown Schenectady. Or neighboring Troy.

You'll be fine, your family is rich

Sorry, I don't really mean to offend, but I've been to Texas at least 100 times and I just don't get it, especially Dallas. I know the cost of living is dirt cheap, and jobs are plentiful, I just hate the weather, the flat, treeless topography, the shotgun developments of brick homes on tiny lots with high fences on all sides, the strip malls on every corner, the chain restaurants on every corner. I just don't get why anyone would choose to live there. That said, Austin is a significant step up from Dallas.
