i'd prefer a more credible source, but that's the first I've seen outside of New York that directly claim the Jets are targeting Manning.

    Thanks for posting.

LOL....Its the student newspaper for NYU. The guy who used to hide in the bushes here on JI would be 1000% more credible than this article.

this is a total speculation article. No sources are named nor is anything substancial stated.

Simply restating the facts that have been known and repeated for the past two months.

LOL. Do we really need the White House to vet this topic for us?

It is the worst kept secret in the NFL that the Jets are unhappy with Sanchez and if they could make Peyton fit without killing the team I think they would do it.

    As per ROTOWORLD

Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum continues to leave the door open for a run at Peyton Manning this offseason.
Asked directly if the Jets would "kick the tires" on Manning, Tannenbaum replied, "It's really important that we always try to improve the team. ... My philosophy is you've got to be aggressive, you have to know what's going on out there, and you have to look for opportunities." Tannenbaum still "expects" Mark Sanchez to be the QB in 2012, but the organization has clearly lost quite a bit of confidence in him as the face of the franchise.
