Davy Jones of the Minkees dead.

    Heart attack at 66.

Sounds like he took his last train to Clarksville.

    Edit: Mokees?

RIP. Grew up watching The Monkees. To this day I have still no clue wtf was going on with that show, but still a part of my childhood nonetheless.

I always thought the Monkeeys were better then the Beatles until I found out they didn't play the music or write their songs. What a heartbreak to learn at 5years old.:D

    Great voice though. RIP Davey!

Maybe make a movie together too. A mixture of Hard Days Night and Head. Jack Nicholson would jump at the chance to produce it.

"Head" has to be on the short list of the most incomprehensible, drug-induced ideas for a movie ever devised. Even Mickey Dolenz said he didn't know what the hell it was about.

The only thing I know about The Monkees comes from The Simpsons: they didn't write their own songs and they didn't even play their own instruments.

He had a better voice than Paul Rodgers.
