Trades, I'm not gonna argue with you over this but a 2% increase is still an increase. And how long did that take? What's the cut gonna be? It will be negligible. NJ needed Christie 25 years ago. Stick a fork in that state.

Hands down the most pathetic group of people on the planet...

(Reuters) - The Justice Department sued the city of Jacksonville, Florida, on Monday, claiming its use of written tests to determine promotions in the city's fire department discriminates against African-Americans. The lawsuit followed a more than two-year investigation examining Jacksonville's record of promoting African-Americans for the ranks of lieutenant, captain, district chief and engineer dating back to 2004. It came after a separate lawsuit filed last year by two dozen Jacksonville firefighters challenging the city's promotional process.

So much easier to make the "racists" lower the bar than, ya know, study harder. Oh, that's right, the tests themselves are racist and oppressive.
I'd suggest Tennessee or Mississippi.
SC.... NC is starting to remind me of NY 25 years ago. Heavy spending, higher taxation and slowly becoming blue.

Those who benefit from these programs can sit and act so "objective and fair" as they have health insurance for life. BUT if you were a professional, raising a family and having to buy everything with YOUR money you couldn't charge customers enough to buy what is available to "the government people".

You would literally price yourself out of the market. Imagine your local grocery store if it let its people retire on 50 to 75 percent of salary after 25 or 30 years??? Milk would be $10 a gallon.
