Absolutely not. But the New England defense wasnt all that bad they made it the Super Bowl is what im saying.
made the SB in spite of their defense, not because of it.

Trading Lowery looks so silly now. Jets certainly need to get more mobile LBs to hinder the TEs/kill the qb and more physical play from our existing dbs if we can't upgrade the S position significantly, which is starting to look increasingly likely with the thin pool of available talent

If Lowery is a FA now, which is what I hear, then they can get him back and still have the pick that they traded him for.
Problem is, who?

    Who's available?

The draft is very weak at the position and there's no guarantee that Barron could step in and be a starter year 1.

I can live with Pool for another year. I absolutely cannot live with E. Smith for another year.
Thomas Decoud ATL.

The Falcs have cap space to sign him though. He's still young, he's a starter and he's big and hits well. An all around good safety.

Mark Barron would start for the Jets on day 1 (no doubt about it), he is a Senior 3 yr starter in a complex defense in the SEC with plenty of tape (38 career starts at safety), a state championship and national championship and the Hernia surgery is common with a predicable recovery (Heath Miller)

    • Unanimous First-Team All-America (AFCA, AP, FWAA, Sporting News, Walter Camp, ESPN.com, SI.com, Pro Football Weekly & Rivals.com)
    • First-team All-SEC (AP & Coaches)
    • Has 12 career interceptions that ranks eighth in Alabama history as well as 235 tackles and 34 passes defended
    • Seven-time Alabama Defensive Player of the Week

Absolutely this is a no brainer. This years draft needs to be like no other. We need immediate impact players, not the Wilsons and Ducassess.
