Report: Moss "lit it up" at Workout

Still think I would rather have Braylon

    Per Roto:

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, free agent Randy Moss "lit it up" in Tuesday's workout with the Saints.
Profootballtalk also hears Moss got out of breaks quickly, showed a high football IQ and the workout "couldn't have gone any better." Moss ran about 45 routes and "looked like the old Randy," leaving all parties "pretty floored" by the workout. Glazer's sense is that those in attendance didn't expect Moss to perform nearly as well as he did. Moss may end up with multiple suitors and guaranteed money after all.

So basically he ran well in shorts and tees. Id rather have Braylon Edwards but wouldnt complain if Randy Moss landed here either. :D

Only thing lit up is a crack pipe for anyone believing this tripe and that Moss will, magically, become a consistent NFL player again. Good luck, Randy. Invest in a beer distributorship.

Randy's problem has never been his physical gifts. It's always been about his effort and personality.

Braylon was the man here. Bring him back.

So this is how the Landing Strip looks these days- Moss, Henne, Manning, Braylon.

Yep, I thought the title of thread implied he was "lit up" for the practice...

That's what I'm thinking(partly 'cause I'd rather have Randy as an ADDITION after Braylon Edwards is signed).

That said, I bet when he tried to run-deep, his "defender" kept up with him and the reporters watching this were told by Randy's agent to gloss over that part in their reports.

Its the offseason, you want us to break down a 3rd and 5 screen pass from last season? Randy Moss and Peyton manning are two of the greatest players to play their position and both COULD put up big numbers next year. Do you find it more interesting to discuss Patrick Turner's upside as a backup slot WR?

He's too tall for a slot receiver, no?

I still think Randy Moss can contribute to the right nfl team.. that team is not the new york jets.... He shouldn't be that expensive, but would he fit into a sparano type offense or would be better suited for a pass oriented offense like the Saints?

His age doesn't scare me away as much has his character.... He's a known quitter and a very selfish player......
