Well it sucks to be them then 'cause no matter how loudly they "grumble" about it, Mark is going to be our QB for the foreseeable present and future. And I couldn't be happier.....unless of course they Re-sign Braylon(then I'd be ecstatic! A good first step toward that, though. lol )
We shall see ... I'm happy for Mark ... But i want him to improve ! I agree about Braylon.

Hopefully it's structured in a way where we have a couple outs just in case. But I like Mark and I think he'll probably be worth it. Peyton was just a pipedream.

It is a 3-year extension beyond the 2 years he already had. Source says the 3 Year Extension is for $40.5M, $13.5M per year. #nyj

    Ugh...not sure I'm a big fan of that number...

Cimini says he thinks the Jets used the Manning interest as leverage in the extension talks, interested to see the terms and how much this saves us
This can help immensely cap wise this year, if done right (and Tanny's forte). I don't remember which poster said it, but kudos to whomever said they were hoping that through this whole Manning chaos that the Jets would sneak in and get an extension done.
They did this to free up money this year to get Williams or two good FA's..simple
