    One or two spaces?

Do you use one or two spaces after a period?

For the record, I'm against the single space. It's another example of the lazy people trying to take over everything. ****ing dillholes.

Two spaces were always the "correct" way we were taught to type in elementary school.

In practice, I don't believe I've ever seen two spaces. Not even from the very teachers who were teaching us.

I myself am a lazy, one-space kinda dude.

Two spaces are bull****. Just lazy people trying to fill a space quota with an extra beat between sentences.

I was taught two spaces also. I believe currently, at least as it relates to business writing, it's one space. More importantly, who cares?

I always use two spaces however I don't think this is the still the norm. Correct use of grammer is something else that is a distant memory.

I had no idea anyone ever used two spaces. Seems dumb to me, and looks weird in practice.

I work in publishing and we always used to use two spaces in manuscript. Nowadays, we use just one space, and the typeset material shows the correct spacing. However, the produced pages don't always show two spaces anymore. I think that practice, just like many hyphenated words, has gone away.
