Osama Bin Laden is dead...General Motors is alive and thriving...the USA has been driven out of the ditch it was in...41 million Americans will no longer be uninsured for Medical costs...the idiotic invasion and occupation of Iraq is over...

And because these promises of 2008 have been kept, Willard will be heading back to one of his 14 mansions in Mass or Utah or the Caribbean in November

FOUR MORE YEARS...YES WE CAN

So don't blame the President... blame the Congress unless of course the Congress is Republican controlled?

Is that your point?
President Obama has cut taxes.
1/3 of the stimulus package was tax cuts.
He also extended the Bush tax cut.
Let's all put our hands together for the 2/3 waste in a (D) taxpayer-funded slush fund which has "stimulated" the slowest, weakest economic recovery evur...the $800 I saved in payroll taxes was offset exponentially by the willfully increased cost of gas and the ensuing domino effect on food and other goods.

Or maybe we can celebrate 46.2 million living below the poverty line now compared to 39.8 million in 12/08.

Dog tail soup anyone?

Obama was a Senator and part of the Democratic majority that had both sides of Congress before the economy tanked.

Not only that. It was thegovernment overregulation of Wall Street that led to Lehman Brothers etc going under and guys like Bernie Madoff stealing tens of billions of dollars.

If true, which seeing some of the posts seems to indicate, we should see the ban hammer (pun intended) for trolling, no?

GM's troubles were delayed not solved. The American tax payers severely overpaid to keep GM afloat and the bust of a government project that is the Volt costs the tax payers $250k/car and no one wants to even buy one for $40k. Ridiculous. How can you think that is a win?

And sure when you get past the complete unprecedented circumvention of American bankruptcy laws and ouster of private sector CXOs in the GM bailout, and the lamenting of the demise of a US enemy there's the 41 million uninsured canard made up of pure lib horsesh!t.

Counted in that # pulled from someone's a$$ are > 10M illegals who don't deserve a subsidy of any kind another 10M that are eligible today for public benefit coverage but don't have it and another 15M who earn more than $50K that decline to buy insurance.

But hey the radicals' dream has always been to completely f up what works well for the vast majority of Americans for the pure sadistic joy of controlling others' destinies

LMFAO!!

"American bankruptcy laws"...

Yeah. Kinda like the ones that allow airlines to file for bankruptcy while holding over $1,000,000,000 is assets and cash?

Woot!

Yeah!

"Wah. We're broke. We only have a billion dollars. Damn people who work for us and want to be able to afford to buy a ticket on pne of our airlines. Damn unions."

Let's go back to the days when the airlines were regulated could not compete based on price and fares much artificially higher than they would have otherwise been even with cheaper fuel.

True, American has $4B in cash but is on the hook for $38B in planes.
Obama hasn't suctioned money from taxpayers wallets with money-losing
Cash for Clunker Planes yet but that's an idea.

You're a dab hand with oakum, why don't you turn your formidable skills to making Olds Silhouettes into flying machines?

But seriously. No American government has ever screwed share and bondholders in a bankruptcy proceeding like B. Hussein's crew.
There was already a blue print for handling GM and Chrysler in Conrail but the UAW had to get theirs 1st.

Yup.

And having 4 billion dollars is the OPPOSITE of being broke.
