Dont underestimate the producers of New Years Rockin Eve.

For 2013... they'll nail his feet to a dollie and pull him out there with ropes.

I guess this is where I pretend to be legitimately concerned about the death of a man who I didn't know, but who happened to be on television.

    RIP, Dick.

Just saw this on AOL. Wow, a flood of after school memories with American Bandstand. Only problem in the Jersey shore area was AB conflicted with the Three Stooges.
Rip,Richard. Condolences to family and friends.

if you do some research you'll find that dickie poo was neck deep in the payola scandels of the 50's but got off scott free unlike Alan Freed - RIP but w/ an asterik

RIP. I always enjoyed his armchair quarterbacking at the end of the Pyramid.

He was just as guilty as Freed. But he got out a little sooner and was a smooth talker. Ripped off a lot of young songwriters back in the day by taking songwriting credits.

I will miss his occasional appearances on television.
