Not if we somehow get a WR in the 1st or maybe even the 2nd. If we don't draft a WR in round 1 or 2 Bray will be back no question.
We need a pass rushing OLB, Free Safety and upgrade at Right Tackle BAD and almost all of those needs can be filled in the draft.

If Bray is healthy bringing him back is a no-brainer. I don't want to draft a WR that needs 2-3 years to learn how to play in the NFL and if and when Tebow ends up being our starting QB that 1st or 2nd round pick on a WR will end up being a total waste of time.
How do you know that he would have stayed healthy here? You don't know if he would have stayed healthy.

Because of that, you cant criticize the decision. Nobody can say anything about it. Its a fallacy of the predetermined outcome.
Lmao so then how can you say "how did he do last year". You can't and that was my point..

If you can read dip**** I never said he would have stayed healthy here, I simply said we don't know either way if he would have still got hurt.

Right. So nobody should complain it. NOBODY. The getting injured was what I was referring to when I asked "How did he do last year"?It is the key element in this discussion

Because the point is had he stayed things 'COULD' have been totally different. Saying "how did he do last year" is not fair because had he stayed we don't even know if he would have got hurt.

If he stays, he plays in the same system he strived in and might not have injured himself. So his season totally changes.

Thats like saying I tore my knee running the NY marathon and if it was the Boston Marathan I would have tore it as well.

But was playing in a different system important to him getting injured?

What makes his getting injured any less likely with the Jets as with the Niners?

    That's the key. Its logical

I wouldn't believe much of what I hear coming from the Jets now. I think they would be willing to bring Braylon back, but I also think they are posturing for the draft a little bit.

It sounds like that. Honestly though, why would Braylon want to come to a team that will eventually have Tim Tebow as the starting qb anyway?

This story reminds me of when grocery stores re-pack expired meat with a new expiration date.

Bringing Braylon Edwards back would help the team in more ways than one.

First, it will help with depth @ the WR position, bringing in a proven commodity that has the size to go over the middle & also be an effective blocker.

Secondly, this will definitely help Sanchez progress. Edwards & Sanchez have chemistry & have been successful together in the past. Edward's gives Sanchez a big viable target with big play ability.

The running game would benefit with the mere presence of a passing attack. Defenses stacking the box would pay dearly leaving the middle of the field wide open.

With the draft approaching, I feel the team will have the flexibility to address other holes in the roster & not have to risk the money & time of drafting a WR early in the draft. The team can focus on upgrading the defense & solidify the O-line.

I would be ecstatic if the team were to sign Braylon.

It's an intelligent move in the right direction!

    The only real question is:
Can Braylon get healthy by August 1st?

Its that simple. We'll all see in 3 months....

By the way, same exact question for Jim Leonard...

BTW: If Braylon is healthy and Tannenbaum doesn't sign him he should be fired. No Jets receiver has ever had better chemistry with Sanchez than Edwards.
I never understood why we let him walk, or why everyone was so convinced Holmes was better.

I'd welcome Braylon back with open arms.
Does santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards get along. I thought there was problems between them. Is that accurate or is that false. Thanks
