The loss of the young mans life sucks, but if he had just kept on walking none os this would have happened. He attack Zimmerman and punched and knocked him to the ground. Let this play out in court. None of us were there so we have no idea what happened.

"if he had just kept walking", "let this play out in court"? LOL, contradict much?

Don't be coy; we all know Dick Cheney sprayed buckshot into Saint Skittles, and then framed Zimmerman. Weren't you at the last Vast Right Wing meeting?

You can stand your ground with a gun and kill an unarmed man but an unarmed man who is being stalked by a man with a gun can't stand his ground?

Zimmerman was attacked he was in fear of his life. That was all he needed under that law. The family wanted their day in court and that they have.

Now you know what occurred and don't need to wait for the court case? Make up your mind.

This is where the true debate lies.

    Is "stand your ground"

    1) Using it when someone is attacking you?
    2) Using it when someone is stalking you?
    3) Using it when someone is "suspiciously" walking around a complex with a history of burglary?

I'm assuming most people would subscribe to #1, which is why we're waiting to see if any "facts" can corroborate that story or not.

Arguing whether it extends to any other circumstances is pretty irrelevant . . .
