Jets trying to clear cap space, could trade a player or two

    From the NFP:
*The Jets have been trying to clear some cap room by trading some lower level players so they have maneuverability around the draft. Don’t be surprised to see them trade a player or two.
Roto's take:
Wayne Hunter is currently penciled in as the team's starting right tackle, but Vladimir Ducasse is waiting in the wings. Due $2.45 million in 2012, the 30-year-old Hunter is a trade/release candidate.
Make it happen, Tanny! Get this POS off the team once and for all

2 Different stories. I thought Hunter was guaranteed?

Edit: didn't see the second part of the post. Still, two different topics.

 I'd rather keep Hunter than Ducasse.

To me, this is like wishing we can get rid of the mumps so we can contract the measles. Wayne Hunter and Vlad Ducasse??! They both suck and are not starting quality. I like the both of them as role players BOTH should be willing to take a backseat to a drafted RT in the starting lineup and a paycut.

    Relax All,

Dr Baddniss has already GUARANTEED you all that we will draft an OL in either Round 1 or 2.

    100% Guaranteed!

Have a little faith in Tanny that he truly does understand NFL football, as well as our strengths & weaknesses...

Yeah, there are vaccines for both of those.

Funny quote from that article.. One hundred years from now, the name “Cromartie” may be more common than the names “Smith” or “Jones.”
